Please take a moment to watch our promotional video to get an idea of who we are and what we are about. We are hiring for our Learn to Swim Department, where we offer five levels of lessons for swimmers age two years to twelve years. Training in other departments, such as Baby Swim, Swim Team, Adult, Customer Service, and Facilities, is possible after Learn to Swim training has been completed.

Learn to Swim shifts run Monday through Friday from 3:45 PM to 7:00 PM, Saturday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and Sunday from 1:45 PM to 5:30 PM. We ask that all applicants have these days/times available in their schedule to work. The initial commitment is for one weekday evening shift and one weekend shift, at a minimum.

We are seeking employees who can make a one-year commitment, at minimum. We operate lessons year-round and therefore do not hire seasonal or summer-only employees.

We initially hire employees for part-time only. The initial commitment is 8 to 10 hours per week. Once instructors are permanently teaching classes, there are several opportunities to increase hours. Full-time positions require a separate application process.

We conduct our own employee training. No outside certifications are required. Training occurs on Saturday (2:30-4:00pm) and Sunday afternoons (12:30 PM to 2:30 PM). This is in addition to any regularly scheduled shifts.

Training is mandatory for an introductory period of employment. Employees are paid minimum wage upon hire and for all hours worked during the training period. Once an employee is permanently teaching classes to paying customers, the teaching wage begins at $17.50 per hour. Once the employee is trained in all departments (Learn to Swim, Adult Swim, and Baby Swim), the fully trained teaching wage starts at $18.50 per hour. Other departments (Customer Service, Facility Team, etc) have their own pay structures starting at minimum wage during training.
